12/4/15 Update: Adoption Pending on Snow!
Meet Snow..... Snow was found abandoned in a field, tangled and wrapped in barbed wire, which had to be cut off of her. To say she was in pretty bad shape when she was rescued from the kill shelter would be an understatement. Snow has had a hard life, and probably one without too much kindness. Snow is a senior female and her vet thinks she is 10 or 11 years old. Her foster thinks she could be older, or it could just be her previous hard life and neglect has taken its toll on her. Her hearing and eyesight are just fine, but she does have some rear leg/arthritis issues and very few teeth left. In spite of this, she is quite feisty and opinionated, and likes to tell you all about it! While Snow tolerates other dogs, she wants her own space and routine, and really prefers to not interact with them. Like most older creatures, she is a bit set in her ways! She adores to be petted and massaged. And if given the opportunity, likes to follow you around the yard and house, usually at her own pace - and when she has had enough, go to her corner and snooze.
Her foster says this about her:
"She is a really a sweet heart. I love her and it took her awhile to really come around but she was in such poor shape and so neglected, but she truly shines now."
Snow is really hoping for her very own forever home with someone to love her exclusively. She is being fostered in Milton, FL by Eskie Rescuers United.
