Hi there! My name is Snowflake and I love my name almost as much as I love snow! I'm a 1-1/2 year old miniature American Eskimo girl who stands about 13-1/2 inches tall and weighs 15 pounds. I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations and am heartworm negative, but I don't need to be on any heartworm preventive medication right now because it's winter here in Minnesota, and those pesky "skeeters" don't like the cold like I do! I'm mostly housebroken, though sometimes I forget to let my foster mama know that I need to go potty. But she and I are working hard on letting her know when I need to go outside. My foster mama says I'm "little Miss Bossy" because I like to boss around her other doggy kids. :o) I get along okay with them, but sometimes I think I'm bigger and tougher than they are. Because I mostly boss the other girl dog around, but not the boy, I would probably do best in a home either with no dogs or with a very laidback male dog. My previous home had 7 human kids, so I don't mind them at all. I met my foster mama's young niece and I liked her. My foster mama doesn't know if I like cats or not because she doesn't have any. I like to play with tennis balls and chew Nylabones. I love to play in the snow! I run in it, lay in it, burrow in it and eat it. What great fun! I absolutely LOVE to be held and to sit in your lap. As soon as you sit down, I immediately want to be in your lap! I will even hurry up and get into the chair just before you do, so please don't sit on me! And after I'm in your lap, I will give you lots of my sweet Eskie kisses before snuggling close and falling asleep. If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you!
