I'm Sparkle! I am a 12 pound miniature-sized American Eskimo, and my foster mom says I am a real doll! She says I'm sweet, quiet, house-trained, well behaved and a real joy to have in her home. I get along with the other four dogs in my foster home and I love people. I also love sitting on laps and being petted. As my foster mom writes this, I am sitting quietly on her lap. She just loves me! I enjoy walks and do very nicely on a leash. After I got lost, nobody came to claim me. My fur was tangled and my tail had three mats the size of a Buick! My foster mom gave me a bath and worked on all my tangles and now my fur is long, clean and beautiful. (It sparkles! TeeHee!) I am a little fur puff, just full of cuddly love. I am very calm, HW negative and current on all my shots. I'm looking for a kind and gentle forever family who will consider me just as much a part of the family as everyone else. Since I was lost, nobody knows my age, but it was estimated to be around 10+ years or so. I am very small for a mini, so I would like a home with gentle caring people where I am not stepped on! :o) Snuggly Buggy signing off now! XOXOX If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Deborah at: eskierescuer@aol.com. You can also click here to fill out an adoption application for me. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. I'm in Chicago, IL with my foster mommy, Joan. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). There is a $150 adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! and#9829;Sparkleand#9829;
