Hi, my name is Ariel! I'm a 5-month old miniature American Eskimo girl who stands about 14 inches tall and weighs about 15 pounds. Don't I have the sweetest face? And of course I'm showing off my Eskie smile, which is a trademark feature of my breed! :o)

I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm also microchipped, so you can never lose me! I'm not housebroken yet, but I'm still a puppy and I'm doing my best to learn my indoor manners! I like to go for walks, but I'm not sure about that leash thing-it takes some getting used to! Right now my foster mommy is using a harness for me, and I'm doing pretty well with that.

I love playing with kids, because that's what puppies do! I'm sure I'll get along with everyone I meet, maybe even kitties who are used to being around dogs. My foster mommy says that someone is going to scoop me up quickly-is that someone you? Wouldn't you like to have me in your life so I can show you how sweet I really am? I can't wait to get into my new forever home with you! Won't you give me a chance at a wonderful life? You can see how beautiful and lovable I am!

If you are interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Belle Chasse, LA with my foster mommy, Liz. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
