Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hi, my name is Luna! I'm a 5-year old miniature American Eskimo girl who weighs 23 pounds. Don't you think I'm just the cutest little doll? I'm spayed, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm crate-trained and potty-trained, though I may have an accident once in a while. I like to go for walks and am very curious of my surroundings. I get along well with other dogs, but we don't know about cats, because I haven't been around any in my foster home. I'm really sweet and quiet but a bit timid. I'm good with my foster mommy's young child (he is very gentle with me), but active and rambunctious kids might scare me, so I would probably do best in a quieter home. I really like to be petted and I'll let you know it with soft nudges and kisses. :o) I need a family who has patience and lots of love and affection to shower on me. Wouldn't you like to have me in your life and give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you are interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Crestview, FL with my foster mommy, Ana. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuersunited.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Luna!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
