Hi, my name is Sno-Boy, but I also respond to Snowey! I'm a miniature-sized American Eskimo boy who is almost 1 year old. Don't I look so handsome and adorable in my pictures? I'm new to rescue and am available for placement in the loving home of an experienced Eskie owner. I'm neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm also housebroken. As is characteristic of my breed, I will bond very quickly with my new owners and be very protective of my home and family. I get along very well with other dogs (especially other Eskies), and would be a great addition to a home that already has one or more Eskies. The ideal situation for me would be in an adult environment without children. Though I may be extremely wary of men at first, I will eventually warm up to them, especially if they understand the Eskie breed. I'm great on a leash and just LOVE to go for walks-I get all excited and bounce up and down whenever I see that leash! :o) I definitely need a home with a fenced-in yard to play and romp around in (this really is a MUST). My foster mommy says I have a wonderful personality that matches my good looks, and that I will certainly make someone VERY happy-will that someone be you? Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Mooresville, NC with my foster mommy, Judy. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuers.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Sno-Boy!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
