Hi, my name is Sydney! I'm a 6-year old mix of American Eskimo and what appears to be dachshund. (I'm short like a dachshund and have a long body.) I weigh about 25 pounds, but I'm pretty overweight, so I need to find a loving and caring family that will shower me with love and affection, but not with fattening treats! I am spayed, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I had a very badly infected toe that unfortunately got worse, and I just recently had to have my back left leg amputated. :o( But I doubt that will slow me down any! I am a SUPER-SWEET girl who gets along with everyone and everything! I'm very laid back and do not bark, so I know I'd make a wonderful companion for you! Wouldn't you love to have me in your life, so I can show you how sweet I really am? I can't wait to get into my new forever home with you! Won't you give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you are interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you (I'm being fostered in Louisiana).
