Hello, my name is Twinkie! I am a 1-1/2 to 2-year old miniature American Eskimo boy who stands approximately 13 inches tall and weighs 18 pounds. I'm a little underweight, so I need to gain about 3 to 5 pounds. I was out on my own for two months and was being fed by strangers before I was turned into the shelter. Now I'm lucky to be in a nice warm home, getting lots of love! I'm neutered, current on all of my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm also potty trained and kennel trained. I was in a very bad state when I was rescued by Leah, my rescue angel! My coat was nothing but mats that were growing into my skin! Not only that, but my fur was orange! My foster mommy gave me three good baths and got my coat mat-free and almost totally white!!! I feel like a brand new Eskie-and I smell so good too! Just look at my pictures-don't you think my foster mommy made me look SO handsome? :o) I'm great with other dogs and I'm good with kitties too, but I do like to chase them-it's such fun! We don't know about small kids (my foster mommy doesn't have any), but I would be just fine with older ones (bigger than toddler size). I am a SUPER sweet, VERY lovable and very easygoing guy who just wants to love you and be loved in return! I am a friendly and happy boy and will wag my tail and flash that huge Eskie smile to prove it! I'm a healthy eater, not at all picky-and I just love my chewie treats and my cookies! Yummy! My favorite place is to be sitting right in your lap. Don't you want me to become your new best friend and show you how sweet I really am? I promise to be a very good boy!!!
