Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hi, my name is Sissie. I'm a 4-year old toy American Eskimo girl who stands 10 inches tall and weighs all of 12 pounds! (I'm all legs!) I may be skinny now but not for long, because my foster mommy is determined to fatten me up! :o) I may act a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly! I am spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm potty trained and kennel trained, and am also microchipped, so you don't have to worry about losing me! I do fine on a leash and love to go for long walks with you. I'm also very content to sit in your lap for hours on end. I love being petted and hugged and getting my belly rubbed, not to mention getting my special treats to eat. :o) In return I will give you the sweetest little kisses!! I am a SUPER sweet girl who is looking for that oh-so-special someone who will spoil me and treat me like the princess I am! Will that be you? Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? I'm just the best little girl-and I can't wait for the chance to prove it to you! If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Simpsonville, SC with my foster mommy, Leah. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Leah at: leah@eskierescuers.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Sissie!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
