**ADOPTED** Hi, everyone! Take a look right here, I'm the guy you have all been waiting for! My name is Snoop Dawgy Dog, but you can call me Snoop. My foster mommy nicknamed me that because when I go for a walk, my nose is always on the ground. There's lots of goodies lying on the ground, and I don't want to miss any of them! I'm the official trash picker-upper. If I'm out and there's a piece of paper on the ground, you can bet I'm going to eat it! (I'm great at keeping the litter down in my neighborhood. HeHe!) I'm a small standard (or large miniature) sized American Eskimo male, about 2-years old and weighing almost 22 pounds. I'm recently neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. I'm completely housebroken (yeah me!), and I will go into a crate, though I am not too crazy about being in there. I'm still in that playful puppy stage, and I do like to chew sometimes, so I need lots of toys. TOYS??? I love toys! I'm a very friendly guy, though I have to admit not to all creatures. After meeting kitties for the first time here at my foster mommy's house (and having gotten time to figure out just what they were!), I decided I didn't much care for them. Also, I don't always get along all that well with the other dogs around here--and boy, are there a lot of them! So maybe it would be better if I were the only pet in your home. My foster mommy doesn't have any kids, so I haven't had a chance to be around them. But when we went to PetsMart the other day I saw a young child there, and to tell the truth, I didn't like him very much, so I think I would prefer a home without kids too. That way I can get ALL your attention! I'm very smart and VERY eager to please, so with some good obedience training (and patience from you) I could probably learn to like everything. It's just that no one ever provided me the proper training before I got here, so I never learned any better. My foster mommy says I'm really a good boy, and that anyone would be very lucky to have me as their best friend and companion. I'm waiting so patiently for my very own forever family who will love and cherish me always--will that be you? Won't you adopt me into your home and give me a chance at a wonderful new life? If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Wanda at: wanda@eskierescuersunited.org or feel free to e-mail my foster mommy directly at: Justus4250@aol.com. Better yet, you can go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. I'm in Carlisle, PA with my foster mommy, Gina. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). There is an adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! and#9829;Snoop Dawgy Dogand#9829;
