About Bonnie and Clyde!

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 05-027, 05-053
Hi, our names are Bonnie and Clyde! As you can see from these pictures, we are adorable little 9-week old American Eskimo puppies, one male and one female. To be honest, we can't tell from the pictures which one of us is which, but we're sure our foster mommy can tell us apart! :o) (She says Bonnie is a little fluff ball and I have a pink spot on my nose which looks so cute!) As soon as we're old enough, we''ll be available for adoption, either together or separately.

We were just "fixed" this week. (We didn't even know we were broken! HeHe!) We're current on all our puppy vaccinations, though we still need to have more of them done. OUCH! We hate those needles! Because we're still young puppies we haven't quite mastered that potty training thing, but our foster mommy is already helping us learn that we need to go outside to do our "business." We're also trying to get the hang of those strange things humans call leashes, but we're still too playful and fidgety so far to catch on properly!

We're playful little sprites who get along with everyone. We won't have any problems with other dogs, cats or even human kids as long as we're socialized properly. This means getting introduced to them while we're still young and being taught how to act around them. (Grown-ups would call this learning our manners!) Because we Eskies are a very smart breed, we catch on very quickly. We just need to be taught how to act right, and when we do something we shouldn't, we need to be disciplined in a firm (but kind) manner--you know, just like human kids are supposed to be raised! :o)

If you're interested in us and would like more information, please contact Leah at: leah@eskierescuersunited.org or feel free to e-mail our foster mommy directly at: Bablinidiut@aol.com.

You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for us!

There is an adoption fee required, and because we're still so young, we need to be adopted locally, because long transports might be too hard on us. We're in McMinnville, TN with our foster mommy, Beth. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Thank you and WOOF!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
