SNEAKERS! You want fun? You want play? You want the greatest dog in the world? SNEAKERS....me....yep, yep, yep! I've got it all! I love life to the fullest extent. I love to run and run and run...that's where I got my name...my foster dad says it's like I have on my own pair of tennis shoes... SNEAKERS! I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who doesn't need much but a lot of love. In return I'll give you lots of fun, enjoyment and companionship! I know bunches of tricks already -- "sit," "come" and my bestest trick of all -- "turn around." I'll stand on my back legs and turn a 360 degree circle for a little dog snack! Now how cute is that? I love everybody and everybody seems quite taken with me. I show some minor attitude toward other male dogs trying to compete for all of the attention, but a stern "No" does the trick. I do need a totally fenced yard because I have no fear of cars (or much of anything else). I'm a truly handsome dog, if I do say so myself. All my foster sisters compete for my attention...hmmmm....a dream come true! I really enjoy doing what my foster parents want me to, and I try to please them constantly. I want to be accepted and loved, so I'll do whatever I can to make that happen. My foster parents think I would be great at agility or even trained as a companion dog to do nursing home work. I have the easy personality for either. Now all I need is you -- a family forever -- a family for me -- a forever SNEAKERS family! If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact my foster mommy Jane at: matt7731@bellsouth.net. You can also click here to fill out an adoption application for me. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). There is a $150 adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
