See Tyler's Homepage Tyler's fur was so matted that he had to be sedated to be groomed as it was very painful for him. He had a temper if you tried to force him to go somewhere or even try to pick him up. He was severely neglected and abused. And his little tail was even broken. His foster mom, Kim, saw something in this little boy that she felt he could be a very good companion with love and time. Paul and his family adopted Tyler and reports that he is GREAT! He follows Amanda, one of Paul's daughters, to bed everynight where she lifts him onto her bed and he is there for the night! Paul reports that even Tyler's tear stains around his eyes are completely clear in which the family thinks it's because he doesn't have anything to cry about now. Paul made a very special comment about adopting: '...if it is the first time adopting, they will have to look inside themselves and adapt in some ways to the new animal. I thought early on the animal would adapt, and they do to a point. However, the new owners need to be patient and understanding in ways they may not be used to...It has been worth the change'.
