Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Meet Lola! Lola and her "sister" Layla are a bonded pair of Eskies who came into rescue when their mom passed away. Lola ia a standard American Eskimo dog. She is a shy girl and while it takes her a little time, once Lola knows she can trust you is very affectionate. Lola has impeccable house manners. She loves food just a little too much and is on a diet to shed a few pounds. Lola lived in a one-story and is learning stairs. She is accustomed to relieving herself in a fenced yard. Her foster mom and dad are working on leash training and helping Lola learn stairs are okay. Lola, though a quiet girl, is the more dominant of the two girls. She sometimes becomes anxious when she hears a commotion outside or is away from her people for too long. The anxiety results in inappropriate chewing. No soft toys for Lola, and you'll need to put your shoes away. Lola and Layla have lived together since they were nine months old and in many ways are dependent on each other. We would like to place them together. For more information please contact their foster mom at jphelan120@att.net.
