Hi y'all, my name is Lil' Bo Peep, you can call me Peeper's for short. I am a very sweet southern gal from the state of North Carolina and I am as sweet as sugar -- I love everyone including gentle, older children. Well almost everyone... ok, I must admit, I don't care for cats... or birds, and oh jeez, I'm not fond of other dogs either. So, sheep are probably out of the question LOL. Hey, but that's it. I love, love, love people and if you're one of those, well we will get along SUPER. Lil' Bo Peep wants you all to my lil ole self. Is that selfish of me? I just can't help myself, I just love people sooooo much. Peepers and People... a Perfect match!

I am a fairly good jumper -- a 3 foot fence is no match for Bo Peep! So you will have to make sure to keep me safe when I am outside. I was previously owned by an older man who had to go to a nursing home; nobody else could take me. Lil' Bo Peep lost her shepherd :o( and so I ended up in a shelter in NC.

I am full of energy, I love to play and have lots of spunk. Just show me another dog and I will show you how much spunk I have :o) But if you are interested in a little ball of fluff that will be good with all your friends and visitors then I am the girl for you. I am crate trained. I'm up-to-date on all vaccines and heartworm negative and I'm currently on frontline for flea & tick prevention & heartguard.

When I go to my forever home, it will need to be a place where I get lots of love and attention. Actually you won't have a choice on the attention part. Because I will be with you all the time so you won't be able to forget to give me attention. You will be Bo Peep's flock to tend tee hee.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I’m being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.

If I’m not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you).

Please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
