9/25/15 - ADOPTION PENDING ON SUGAR Sugar is a very energetic female Eskie needing a new home after her owner passed away recently. She loves playing Frisbee and chasing balls and actually brings them back to be thrown again (not all Eskies will play fetch like she does!). She is very healthy, UTD on all shots, spayed, and had a dental done 3-4 years ago. She has a slight skin allergy in the summer, easily controlled. She is heartworm negative, and on the preventative Trifexis. She has recently been shaved due to a miscommunication with a groomer -- her gorgeous coat will grow back. She has a good temperament, cautious of strangers but very loving once she warms up to them. Loves to cuddle. Unknown how she is with kids; at the least would need proper introduction and monitoring. She is currently living with another dog (9 pounds) and a cat, with no problems; she just needs time to become familiar with them before fully accepting. She walks well on a leash, but does need some training to not bark at dogs and passersby. She is typical Eskie when it comes to barking -- she is an alert barker and will warn owner of strangers.
