Bolt is a very sweet dog. He loves anything & everything you do to him (bath time, belly rubs, and training). As long as he’s with you, he is happy!

He has learned to sit and will sit politely (instead of jumping on or pawing you for attention) for love and/or treats. He is very smart and learns easily. He has already learned to not beg at the table in just 1 week. He is a very polite boy!

He is housebroken & will potty outside and/or on a pad, if necessary, so he is fine for apartment life too.

He walks great on a leash (no pulling) and is happy to walk by your side. He walks very well with my pack (4 dogs total) or just with me.

Bolt mostly ignores the other dogs in my house, so he can be the only dog or in a home with other dogs.

If you’re looking for a good companion dog with good manners & lots of love to give, Bolt is perfect.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
