Sadly, Rory passed away on April 28, 2009. She was dearly loved by her mommy, Regina, and Rory's last few months with Regina were her best. Hi, my name is Aurora, Rory for short. I am a 10 year old female from Pa in need of a very loving home. I am very friendly and sweet and just want someone to love and pet me. See I have not had a good life, I was a cruelty case. My foster mom does not know what happened to me or what the charges were. The SPCA would not tell her much other than I was a cruelty case and came in with another dog. They would not even tell her what happened to the other dog. I am very hard to get good pictures of since whenever my foster mom comes up near me with the camera I turn my head away and look in the other direction which is a sign of submission. Since I just got here my foster mom is going to give me a few days to settle in and get to know me before she can really tell you all about me. Update: Rory is housetrained. She also loves to play and do zoomies. She is an absolute love! ************************************************************** I will update as I learn more about Aurora. Aurora was given this name because I was telling a lady at work about this dog and she suggested I call her Aurora because she had just watched Sleeping Beauty with her grandchild and felt Aurora would be a fitting name because she is starting over.... Like waking up from a long sleep. If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact hortmeye@gmail.com or heidi@eskierescuers.org. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. I'm staying in Pennsylvania until my new family comes along!
